Hailing from South Bend, Indiana, Tom Patterson started his craft in his elementary and high school years. After graduation, Tom moved to New York City to attend the Tisch School of the Arts at the prestigious New York University. While earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Patterson studied Classical Studio and Experimental Theatre and was given The Meisner Extension Award for Acting.
In the years since graduation from NYU, Tom Patterson has been cast in plays all over the country, but more predominately on the east coast of the United States.
Currently, Tom is a first year graduate student at University California San Diego on his way to earning his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre. Tom may be seen in his next performance with the University at Mandell Weiss Theater at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego between February 3-11, 2012. Patterson will be playing the part of Moritiz Stiefel in Spring Awakening.
